They’ve been dusting themselves down since their birthday celebrations raised the roof  last month, but Chibuku have shaken off their hangover and are preparing to do it all over again on the 15th April by bringing back local lad, Mark Ronson.  He was born in Southport you know…

After his rammed-to-the-rafters set at the Shipping Forecast last year, Ronson returns, this time to rock the Masque and will be holding court in the Theatre with no doubt another blistering set.  World class producer, top notch party DJ and fairly easy on the eyes, we won’t have a bad word said against him.  He even manages to pull off that racoon bouffant with aplomb.

For the more DnB inclined amongst you, Dillinja and London Electricity will be providing the baselines in The Loft, both of whom are legends on the drum and bass scene.  If that wasn’t enough, Ink will be hosted by local outfit Abandon Silence who have invited electro-bass producer L-Vis 1990 and fresh from remixing Crystal Castles, Sert One, to take to the decks.

If you can’t find something to whet your musical tastebuds in that sound smorgasbord then we suggest you get your ears syringed.  On the other hand if you fancy joining in the fun, we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away, completely free!  To enter, simply tell us this, if you please:

What’s the name of Mark Ronson’s band?

Send your answers to info@sevenstreets.com and we’ll tweet/fb winner’s details on Monday 11th.
