So, what do you think about Mann Island? And, more importantly, have your views changed since the development has opened, and is now home to the ace new Open Eye gallery? Ours have, if we’re honest.

This Wednesday, Liverpool Biennial artist Sinta Tantra and the architect behind the Mann Island development, Matt Brook from Broadway Malyan are in discussion at the gallery. Sinta’s new vinyl artwork for the exterior façade of Open Eye Gallery reflects upon how buildings welcome or repel us, and how bodies navigate environments shaped from light, colour and physical structures. Sinta and Matt will discuss the ideas behind Mann Island’s controversial design and the roles that physical spaces play in the process of falling in love.

It promises to be quite a discussion, we have no doubt. Tickets £4/£5
