Just look at it outside. Bloody lovely innit. Let’s hope it stays that way, for this looks like a sweltering summer night belter. The on-the-money people at Freeze presents, erm, present Kompakt Records Party at St Luke’s Church & the Kazimer in a month’s time.
“St Luke’s, or the ‘Bombed out Church’ as it is affectionately known, will be the environ for an open air party of seismic proportions,” they tell us.
“July 13th will see the space transformed into a very special intimate soiree to indulge in some of the most epic of electronic music.”
We think that means they’re having a bit of a do.
Freeze will be flying in Latin techno love God, Gui Boratto for his only UK gig of the year. The Brazilian’s mesmeric blend of lush electronica and spacey, ethereal trance has seen him rise to global prominence over the past half decade, his tunes finding their way effortlessly onto the playlists of Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier and Sven Vath, and with friends like that…
If that wasn’t enough, Freeze’s sibling promotion Little Sister helms the Kazimier Garden after party, with Kompakt head honcho Michaeal Mayer, returning to Freeze after his awe-inspiring performance in November last year. Kompakt stalwart Tobias Thomas will also play both events; with Freeze’s resident Jemmy supporting at St Luke’s, part of a summer playing for Cream Ibiza and Creamfields, whilst mUmU resident Adele Moss begins her stint at the helm of Little Sister in the Kazimer.
That’ll be a date, then? Wait there, we’re gonna ask them for some free tickets. We’ll be right back with a competition…
