Some bands effortlessly push all our endorphin buttons. Bastille is one. The south London project headed by Dan Snow is now a fully fledged band, mixing Miike Snow-esque production chops with industrial beats and twitches, the result is beautiful, highly polished pop that lies somewhere between the skitter of Django Django and the glitter of Metronomy. We like them, in short. And we’re sure bigger things beckon. And they’re coming here next month, with Swiss Lips. Go see.
