A fairly recent appearance in Liverpool’s city centre, the Novotel is a modern four-star hotel with over 200 rooms, heated pool and restaurant.
Food is served at the futuristic Elements bar and restaurant, which is open from 6am to 11pm every day, serving an international menu, while the bar stay open until 1am.
Leisure facilities include the pool and a gym, as in many Liverpool hotels, and the rooms boast WiFi and satellite television. There are ten function rooms that can accommodate up to 100, though given the Novotel’s location we’d think it more likely that work conferences will be better suited here than wedding parties.
And location is everything, as Channel 4 frequently tells us. In this case it’s on Hanover Street literally yards form Liverpool One, right on the edge of Ropewalks, Liverpool’s party central, and a couple of hundred yards from the Albert Dock and Echo Arena.
It’s well served by the Paradise Street bus interchange, Liverpool Central Merseyrail station just up the road (and Lime Street a little further for national connections) and parking at the Q Park, also a stone’s throw away.
Kids go free when part of a family and there are deals available through the usual outlets if you look for them. Liverpool Novotel gets generally favourable write-ups on Trip Advisor, winning praise for its location and value.
Novotel is one of several new chain Liverpool hotels springing up in the city centre to usurp the likes of the more established likes of the Adelphi.
