We’ve been banging on about how the Liverpool Lantern Parade is one of the city’s annual highlights ever since we set up camp on the interweb a year ago. This year’s, in Sefton Park, was yet another Hallowe’en spectacular: beautiful, moving and unique, and an event we should all be proud of.
One of our favourite Liverpool snappers Pete Carr was there to take in the action and photographed a set of images that perfectly sum up the evening – one of sheer wide-eyed joy. Adults as well as the kids.
Here’s just one of our favourites, but head over to Pete’s superb photoblog for the rest. See you there next year?
