Radar: Annie Hall and a Roast Dinner!

What's our favourite Woody Allen film? That's a tough one. But Annie Hall? Gotta be top five. And it's on this weekend at the CUC.

What: Yes, we know, the ideal accompaniment to Woody Allen’s masterpiece, Annie Hall, is a couple of snappy lobsters. But, as it’s Sunday, and freezingly unseasonal, a roast dinner will do just fine. So imagine our delight when we get ‘em both, this weekend, at the increasingly excellent CUC Classic Movie Club. Blu-Ray schmoo ray, there’s nowt better than seeing a 24 carat classic on the big screen.

Oh, and should you insist of after dinner snacks, there’ll be fresh popcorn and sweets aplenty.

“There’s an old joke – um… two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of ‘em says, “Boy, the food at this place is really terrible.” The other one says, “Yeah, I know; and such small portions.” Well, that’s essentially how I feel about life…”

Where: CUC, Greenland Street

When: Sunday, 4 September. Dinner 3pm. Film 5pm.
