Win a Camp and Furnace Christmas

What are you doing this Christmas? Whatever it is, shuffle your diary around to make space for the last big night of a very, very good Camp and Furnace year...

You know what – if we had to pick a Liverpool personality of the year, it would probably be Camp and Furnace. Where else could you have sampled the best malt whiskies in the world, cavorted to the twisted fairytales of the Vogue Ball, let your imagination run wild with a table-tennis racket and dived into a hot-tub with some Swedish lovelies? Well, ok, apart from in David Gest’s Able Seaman Suite at the Liner Hotel we mean.

So we’re more than chuffed to see their in-house indoor picnic returns for one last hurrah, and a chance to run amok within their twinkly-treed forest before the cold gets to your back and you’re laid low for the winter (or is that just us?)

We’re promised fake snow and real food. We’re promised DJs (fake or not? It doesn’t say. If they play Maria we’ll know) and open fires. We’re promised stuffed turkeys and veggie treats, warming soup and sticky treats.

You know what, Christmas and Camp and Furnace go together like a free cufflink set with a box of Lynx grooming products. Yes, their Swedish thing was good (let’s make it a touch more, er, Swedish though next time) but winter in the Furnace seems like such a good proposition: away from the corporate do’s and vomming office workers, cocooned in a Baltic wonderland of bonhomie and Brown Bear beer.

Eat, drink, dance all night. Warm your chestnuts by the open fire. Kiss inappropriate strangers. Kiss strangers inappropriately. It’s Christmas – hey, we’d even pucker up if we saw Amanda Moss spreadeagled beneath a plastic spray of mistletoe.

Tickets for The Winter Picnic are £20 per person, which includes a drink on arrival, picnic box and all entertainment during the evening, and are available from the venue’s Lobby Bar.

FIVE TICKETS TO WIN!

SevenStreets has FIVE tickets for two to win. Just do what you do best – like on facebook, or RT the bejeezus out of us. You’ll know if you’ve won by 15 December.
