Reel Unknown’s secret cinema returns this December

Just say 'no' to The Snowman. Our favourite mysterious movie gang hosts another event next week.

We’re big fans of Reel Unknown, a shadowy organisation that runs the increasingly popular secret cinema events in the city. Mixing a cult film classic with unique theatre and interactive performance, it’s a cool little enterprise that lifts cinema-going to an entirely different level.

Always one to push against convention (their Hallowe’en event featured Spielberg’s The Goonies – take that, Nightmare On Elm Street), Reel Unknown are hinting their Christmas movie won’t have any tinsel ‘n’ trees nonsense. That’s all we do know though, as always, they’re keeping schtum about everything else, including the venue. Details are revealed to ticket buyers in the days leading up to the event. Ditch your Christmas shopping stress for a night, and treat yourself to this instead.
