Solstice Cup

Sefton Park Cricket Club are planning a game with a difference - this one starts at the crack of dawn.

Sefton Park Cricket Club is staging a cricket match with a difference to celebrate its 150th anniversary.

Cricketers from the south Liverpool club will be getting up at the crack of dawn on 21 June to play a game that will likely have finished by the time most people are getting up to goto work.

If you want to head along, then we recommend taking a copy of Wisden, a thermos and lucozade tablets.
